Our third national federal party, the New Democratic Party, which is the closest to the heart of the real people, are engaged in a campaign to stop the mellifluous hypocritical cowboy from Alberta (Harper) from cutting the CBC budget by $130 million:
Our public broadcaster has been hit with a new round of budget cuts.
This time, a $130 million cut will drastically affect the CBC’s ability to carry out its work from coast to coast to coast.
Ever since they took office, Stephen Harper’s Conservatives have been targeting CBC/Radio-Canada with cuts and repeated threats to its independence.
In 2012, the Conservatives cut $115 million over three years—leaving the broadcaster more vulnerable than ever, while the television market evolves and becomes more competitive.
Canadians have shown massive opposition to this Conservative pet project. It’s time for the Conservatives to take note – and take their hands off the CBC.

I don’t watch the idiot tube, but I like to watch the national online as I have my breakfast. No more. It’s starting to make my stomach curl.
I say never mind the cuts. Dismantle the whole institution.
The CBC has become a soap box for the elites. It is shameless in its biased reporting of international events. It always sides with the US and the normal gang of inbreds that comprise the elites.
Things like what the puppet Peter Mansbridge say: Yesterday, the Dutch issued a statement saying that no one knows who did the flight MH17 massacre, yet, Mansbridge, or the leprechauns behind him, stated that the Dutch basically reported that the West was right about believing that the Ukrainian rebels, and the Russians, did it.
No one knows. Actually, if you really glimpse at the evidence, as a right thinking person should do, you might come to the same conclusion that many of us have: The Ukrainian government did it, with the backing of the US//UK/NATO ghouls.

The world is on fire, countless catastrophes occur daily that affect millions. yet the CBC filled the first 13 minutes or so of their daily “National Flagship” about the recovery of a ship that sank in the 1800s. Barf, barf, and re-barf. And we Canadians are subsidizing this crap?
I grew up with the CBC and never thought I would rebel against it, but the Conservative government of the day has put its greedy self-serving propagandist fingers in it and effectively destroyed it. I found out through this blog how insidious and pervasive the control machine of the elites really is. Make no mistake, the elites of the world control all the media in the world. CBC has been usurped and compromised. At this point she looks and smells like an old dog that should be euthanized.
Also, enough of Peter Mansbridge and his ex-wife Wendy Mesley. For over 20 years now we have had to endure this duo. Enough of celebrity broadcasters. Fire them all and replace them with ethnic janitors. It would not make any difference; these bubble heads are merely repeating what the puppeteers want them to say. Come on Peter, tell us what you really think. Better yet, go away!
I’ll probably receive plenty of hate mail from fools that believe the CBC still what it used to be. Look, I am a working man and only have limited time to write these brief posts. It still took an hour of my time to do this. If I offended anyone, good! At least it might spark a real discussion about media control in Canada. Wake up from your TV induced slumber my fellow Canadians. We can do better than this.
