This cartoon pretty much sums it up. That’s how we feel up here in Canada, many of us anyway, about the timing of the closing of all those embassies and the scary terror alert bulletin last weekend. It is so darn obvious. Politicians are now treating us like advertizers on mass media. They aim for the lowest common denominator; they treat us like children. They keep pushing propaganda down our collective minds. Wasn’t it Nazi Goebel that said something like if you keep repeating the same lie loud enough, eventually it will be believed by the masses.
