Dieudonne M’Bala M’Bala and his controversial Quenelle gesture
▶ “Jour de Colère” à Paris: Manifestation antisémite – preuves en images – YouTube.
All this over a stupid gesture? The French politicos totally misunderstood the mood of their citizenship and went along with prosecuting Dieudonne M’Bala M’Bala for his anti-Establishment gesture, the Quenelle. This is the result of such inane policies.
Here at Tales we don’t believe that the Quenelle is an anti-Semite gesture. It is aimed at the French elite establishment. The fact that Jews control most of the French economy, and the media, is just that, a fact.
Most of those protesters shown on the video have a different agenda which is more than likely tainted with the stench of racism, but they do not represent what M’Bala has been standing for.
Imagine if the US government came up with a new law that made the middle finger gesture against the law, how many people would revolt against it? Millions would be on the streets pointing that finger at the government. That’s what the Quenelle is really: A big middle finger aimed at the French powers that be.
We are not defending what these protesters are saying, but we will defend their right to say it. Go back to sleep Voltaire, we got this one.
Lou
Here is a clip of Dieudonne called “The Deported Jew”. It is not that funny for us outsiders; it is a political protest against what the united French left perceive as plain old Zionism. Did you know that the then French president enacted a law in 2009 that forced TV shows to include Jewish characters in them?
Gilad Atzmon – Writings – The Meaning Of Dieudonné.
Jan 31, 2014
Here’s how Gilad Atzmon feels about it. He is Jewish by the way.
The ‘quenelle’ — a salute that was initially introduced by Dieudonné — embodies a modest and graceful openness of true resistance. It is a simple, restrained and poetic take on the crude Anglo-American ‘up yours’. The gesture is obviously universal and an open call — everyone, including Jews, are welcome in, as opposed to the post-68 identity discourses that are largely defined by biology and race. Being an emblem of an ethically driven and universalist standpoint the quenelle also symbolizes an opposition to the primacy of Jewish suffering and the tyranny of political correctness.
